About Claire
Hi! I'm Claire.
I've been tutoring for a few years now, including one year of expertise in tutoring HSC English and Biology to a range of students. I'm currently studying education due to my passion I discovered through tutoring, and always look forward to applying the knowledge I acquire at university to our lessons.
My background in English comes from my passion for literature and writing that I fostered in High School, eventually becoming an English Extension 2 student. My interest in Science and Maths comes from a passion for Biology and Statistics, as well as a background as a high achieving student.

My approach to lessons is to personalise my sessions for each individual student. Whether they are looking for assistance with homework or time management, aiming to improve their essay writing skills or mastery of a subject in preparation for exams or the HSC. My first session involves taking account of their personal goals and going through any work they have previously submitted or are currently working on in order to gain an understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.
My exam preparation sessions involve practice questions with targeted strategies for improvement based on their weaknesses, giving them suitable challenges to improve without being discouraged.
