I am thrilled to have this opportunity to introduce myself and share my passion for teaching the violin. My name is Oscar K. H. Chen, and I am a dedicated and energetic musician with a deep love for music education. With fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, I can provide lessons in multiple languages to cater to a diverse range of students.

I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my teaching. Having achieved the ABRSM Grade 8 Violin with Merit, I have demonstrated a high level of technical proficiency and musical understanding. Additionally, I have over four years of experience teaching the violin, during which I have had the privilege of guiding students from various backgrounds and skill levels.

My musical journey extends beyond teaching. For years, I have been an active member of orchestras, honing my skills as both a violinist and violist. This experience has enriched my understanding of ensemble playing, musical interpretation, and the importance of collaboration.

While classical music is often seen as the traditional pathway for learning the violin, I am passionate about expanding the horizons of my students. I firmly believe that there is beauty and value in every genre and style of music.
