About Nia

I have over 7 years of experience teaching violin and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus on violin performance. Throughout my career, I have performed as a soloist, in chamber groups, and within orchestras, which gives me a broad perspective on different playing styles and ensemble skills. My teaching emphasizes building strong stage presence and confidence, helping students prepare effectively for auditions and competitions. I specialize in guiding students through advanced repertoire, focusing on musical interpretation and technical mastery. I have worked closely with high school performers aiming for conservatories, as well as students preparing for major competitions. Each lesson is tailored to help students grow both as musicians and performers. I believe that developing expressive playing and performance skills is just as important as technical ability. My approach is supportive yet challenging, encouraging students to reach their full potential. Whether it’s refining bowing techniques or exploring deeper musical meaning, I am dedicated to helping every student reach the next level of excellence. About the lesson

My teaching approach centers on clear goal-setting and structured practice to help students build confidence and skill steadily. I encourage exploration and celebrate progress, keeping motivation high. My goal is to help each student shine both technically and artistically.
