About Walter Ivan

I am an Industrial Engineer and university professor with more than 15 years of teaching experience. Throughout my academic career, I have taught Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Elementary Physics.
I am passionate about education and enjoy helping students overcome difficulties and develop confidence in mathematics and science. My approach is patient, clear, and practical, and I adapt my teaching to each student's individual needs and goals.
I have extensive experience working with students at the university level, and I can also help high school and college students prepare for exams, understand difficult concepts, complete challenging assignments, and strengthen their academic foundations.
I am bilingual in Spanish and English, allowing me to provide instruction in either language or combine both when helpful. I particularly enjoy helping Spanish-speaking students in the United States succeed academically.
My university degree has been professionally evaluated and recognized in the United States by an accredited institution.
I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and discover that mathematics and science can be much easier when concepts are explained clearly and step by step.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized, practical, and focused on helping students truly understand the concepts rather than simply memorize formulas. I have more than 15 years of experience as a university professor teaching Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Elementary Physics.
I explain difficult topics step by step and adapt each lesson to the student's level, learning style, and academic goals. We can work on homework, exam preparation, problem-solving skills, or strengthening fundamental concepts.
I can teach in English or Spanish, which is especially helpful for Spanish-speaking students who prefer to learn complex mathematical and scientific concepts in their native language.
My goal is to help every student build confidence, understand the reasoning behind each solution, and become an independent problem solver.
