About Cynthia

My expertise and delight in teaching yoga is helping people free themselves from pain, and dis-ease, and to live longer, healthier, and more joyful lives.

I often say that "pain is the messenger", and it tells us something is out of alignment.

We return to alignment, with the gifts and blessings of these ancient and eternal healing arts, we find and access the natural healing patterns of the wise body, and the pain goes away. It's magic!

We can then learn to dance with pain, even thanking it, for helping us to find greater joy and health.

I am currently offering private yoga, breathwork, and meditation lessons.

I can come to your space, or we a meet in a lovely outside space, in nature or a park.

The breath, of course, is our greatest and most constant access to healing, cleansing and renewal, so outside in a clean, clear, beautiful environment is ideal.

I feel truly grateful to get to help people increase their health, well-being, happiness and longevity, as well as releasing pain, fear, and dis-ease.

I heal myself with yoga every day, and enjoy a greater spiritual connection from the alignment.

It is my joy and honor to share these gifts.

I came to Yoga for personal healing, physically and spiritually, and as I was already working in the healing arts, the teaching just followed naturally.

About the lesson

We will have extensive conversation in the beginning, about where you are at, and what you are looking for, what your goals and intentions are, and how I can best support you.
We will continue the conversation during, and after our session, to determine what you are needing, feeling, experiencing, and how we can adjust to give you the best healing and regeneration possible.

The sessions will consist of exercises, breathing deeply, and possible visualizations, according to what is appropriate for the individual in that moment.

We are constantly changing, so I always arrive present in the moment, willing and able to adjust according to the needs of the individual in the moment.

Most of the students I find myself working with are elderly or recovering from illness or injury.

I also taught movement arts to small children for a decade, and absolutely love working with the little people.

Anyone in between welcome too!

My expertise is meeting you exactly where you are at, on any given day, and finding more space, comfort, breath, & ease from there.
