About Anne-Laure
I love helping women reclaim power over their mental health so that they can experience more ease, joy and peace. Through yoga I support them to create new habits, learn about themselves and bring together all the different parts of who they are.
As a trauma-informed yoga therapist, I'm here to hold space as they re-connect with themselves and help them take manageable steps towards mental wellness.

I have been teaching yoga for over 6 years. I started teaching because yoga helped so much I wanted others to experience what I experienced.
I first trained as a yoga teacher and then undertook extensive training to become a yoga therapist, specialized in mental health (anxiety, depression and trauma).

About the lesson

We’ll spend some time discussing your health condition and why you’ve decided to come and see me. I might ask you questions that don’t seem related to your symptoms, and that’s because I want to get the whole picture and understand what is going on for you. It also helps me tailor the session to you specifically.
Based on our conversation, I will then guide you through different exercises, which would include some of these:
– Static Asana (postures)
– Flowing movements
– Moving or seated meditation
– Breathing exercises
– Visualisations
– Chanting
– Concentration exercises
– Relaxation techniques
– Books or texts to read
– Counselling
– Journalling/writing
You’ll go home with notes of what came up during our session as well as a tailored practice for you to do on your own until our next session. Yoga therapy works best when you do a little bit every day!
I typically work with women who are experiencing anxiety, depression or PTSD.
