About Kate

I offer specialized yoga and meditation to individuals or small groups.

My teaching style is trauma-sensitive and often based on a holistic therapy approach to self care and self improvement.

I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and teach a variety of students in a variety of settings.

I began teaching yoga as part of a holistic therapy approach to youth and family services during my years at a local non-profit family agency and homeless youth shelter.

I earned an Masters degree in community counseling from Western Michigan University and practiced family and youth counseling/therapy for several years.

I am a Yoga Alliance registerd yoga teacher and have been teaching yoga for 3+ years.

About the lesson

I offer a phone or in-person consultation in order to discuss the goals and interests of the new student. We then develop an action-plan and schedule an in-studio session. (Off site sessions, also available).

I have worked with those new to yoga (I'm beginner-focused) as well at those with physical disabilities, and students with an extensive yoga background-looking to meet specific goals.

Take a little time to meet or speak with the teacher in order to get a feel for personality and teaching-style.

I am proud of the kids yoga I offered at Cowpie Music Festival.

I offer dontaion-based group yoga in studio as well as around the community. The schedule is at (concealed information)

I offer sliding fee private and small-group yoga (to be discussed during consultation).
