About Jane
Your Kripalu Certified Instructor, Yoga Jane as I'm known by, learned the deeper teachings of Yoga from Indian Masters who visited and resided at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, Massachusetts. The students tell me they feel a deep sense of peace & relaxation after class and that although challenging, they are able to do all the postures since they are given alternative ways to perform them, & encouraged to release & rest as much as necessary.
During her 14 years of training at Kripalu, some of Jane's teachers were: Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. David Frawley, Ayurvedic Specialists; Bikram Choudhury of Bikram's Yoga; Swami Kripalvanandaji and Yogi Amrit Desal creators of Kripalu Yoga and 2 years prior to that, Swami Satchidananda creator of Integral Yoga.
After leaving Kripalu, Jane opened and successfully ran the Springfield Yoga Center in Massachusetts and the Inner Peace Yoga and Health Center in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
She produced her own yoga series for TV in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Jane believes that "Home is where the heart is." and when yoga is practiced as the Yoga Masters intended, we experience a relaxed, warm, peaceful feeling that takes us into our heart and makes us feel at "home."
Yoga should always be an enjoyable experience. If you feel pushed, in pain, or that you have to achieve something, then it is no longer yoga. When done correctly, you will feel an inner peace accompanied by a deep sense of relaxation and contentment. You will find that the more you practice, the better you will feel.
