About Nathaniel
I have a bachelor's in molecular biochemistry and biophysics from Illinois Tech in Chicago as well as an MS in biology from the University of Nebraska Kearney. For 14 years I have worked in healthcare in various capacities, which also allows me to have a good deal of applied knowledge to help if I am tutoring health-professions students. Due to my background I find that it is easy to relate to students and make the lessons as stress-free and casual (but still helpful and informative) as possible.

Hi everyone! My name is Nate and I tutor community college and underclassmen at universities. I am flexible with students to meet them at their level, prompting students to thoroughly examine their existing knowledge and build on it. I also find gentle humor and bad puns tend to make subjects more memorable. I like to provide practice problems and case studies for my students if they find that helpful, as well as use visuals and color to distinguish and aid in recall.
