For me, understanding the concept is important in teaching Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. I do provide complete workings and in-depth explanations of how the figures are derived through illustration. Students might find it confusing especially if their foundations are not strong. Hence the more important to explain back what they previously learned or missed so they don't face further confusion. Typical length I would advise is around 1.5 hours for 1 subject. My lessons are open for all ages, catering from primary to pre-university. Currently, I have a portfolio of 1 private class for SPM Modern Maths, 1 group class for SPM Modern Maths and Additional Maths, and 1 group class for Primary 5 mathematics.
