About Monjoorul

My name is Monjoorul Ameen, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering. Since 2005, I have been a professor and tutor at Palm Beach State College, and for the past six years, I have also taught mathematics at Pahokee High School.

I have experience working with students of all ages and have dedicated my career to helping them develop their skills and confidence in mathematics. I pride myself on adapting my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student. If you seek assistance in any mathematical subject, I am committed to doing everything I can to help you succeed.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on personalized learning and active engagement, using direct instruction, visual aids, and real-world applications to suit different learning styles.
Each lesson includes a review of previous material, clear explanations of new concepts, and guided practice, with independent assignments to reinforce learning. I create a supportive environment that builds confidence and fosters a growth mindset, drawing on my engineering background to connect math concepts to real-life scenarios.
