About Jacob

I was a model GCSE and A level student with A* grades in Maths and Physics
I've previously tutored GCSE and A level students and have been able to improve grades with a succint and effective tutoring method which is tailored to tackling difficult topics and overcoming problems. I have also tutored students with SEN and so have a wide range of skills needed to teach those with difficulties.

Each student has their own way of learning best, by working with the student we can find the methods to push through challenges together.

About the lesson

My methodology is that each student is unique, there are a lot of teaching methods and each individual has a best way of learning. My aim is to find the method that fits best to each student to ensure that they learn effectively efficiently and stay engaged.

I have experience with SEN students and have found much success in alternative methods in communication and teaching.

First lesson(s) will be to understand the student and their needs, and build a plan going forward. To work with the student to lay down their own path to sucess.

Later sessions will be to move from topic to topic, discovering strengths and weaknesses, to address in the future.

Towards the end of the Tutoring we will focus on exam preperation, and methods for studying alone and techniques to help with exam pressure.
