About Dhiraj

I have 15+ years of extensive experience in IT industry and have delivered a range of projects in financial, media and energy industries. I have worked with US government on mission critical systems such as 911 emergency system and is currently working with prestigious Reserve Bank of Australia on financial market systems which are critical for maintaining economic stability in the country. I believe by adding a flavour of industry experience in teaching, I would be able to help students in realizing the value of technical concepts and how then can be applied in the real life projects.

Teaching and giving presentations is my passion. I have had delivered a range of presentations in various IT companies I have worked for where I have been presenting the complex architecture of the system and design decisions that have been thought of while architecting the system. I have conducted a series of technical trainings on WCF, design patterns, SOLID principles and delivering software lifecycle from designing to automating the deployments using Microsoft Visual Studio Team System in the IT companies I have worked for.

In the past I have conducted voluntary tuitions/crash courses as well on Programming in C++ and RDBMS for the engineering students in Electronics branch to build their fundamentals as they find difficult to grasp computer concepts. I have delivered a range of seminars at my Engineering school, Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Mumbai as I wanted to give back the favour and impart the industry knowledge to the upcoming professionals in IT.

About the lesson

My teaching method is to build practical exercises after giving the theory knowledge. I am aware of the challenges involved in implementing and delivering industry projects and how the knowledge in books can be applied in real life projects, there-by transforming them in meaningful solutions and systems. I believe good communication skills is the foundation for achieving excellence in teaching profession and motivating others to discover their abilities is the mark which completes the foundation. I have had various opportunities in my career to guide the junior engineers, motivate them, polish their fundamental IT skills and give them a platform to flourish their IT career.
