About Lauren
Prather Violin & Viola Lessons acknowledges each student as a unique individual. With a wide variety of music and techniques, each lesson is designed for the student to learn and excel.
I am a passionate music teacher who loves sharing the joy of music. I have worked with kids and young adults of all ages. I graduated from Belhaven University with a degree in music education, and I had the privilege of teaching elementary music at Jackson Public Schools. In addition, I have worked as an independent performer. I seek to shape my students into knowledgable performer by also incorporating music theory, music history, and musicianship skills into my lessons.
