I started playing the violin at 16, and learned at an accelerated rate. I ended up having a full scholarship for college because of it. In college, I became a teaching assistant for the dean of music at SUNY Albany. Because of my outgoing personality, I established a rapport with my students so they learn more quickly and efficiently.

Bachelor of Arts at SUNY Albany.

Head violin/viola instructor at Northern Caifornia School of Music.

Head violin/viola instructor at NorCal Music and Arts Center.

Private teaching at residence.

About the lesson

Introducing the basics of the instruments in the first lesson; emphasis on bow arm initially. Within 2 weeks, incorporating left hand (violin) technique and starting to play repertoire.

All types, from beginners through advanced students of all ages, between 6 and 75 years.

The most important thing is having a good working relationship between student and teacher for best results.

A family outing to Berkeley to meet one of my old friends.
