About Noah

I can teach Viola, Violin, Cello, and Music Theory (Commin Practice Period.) I will strive to better the understanding of the instrument for the student by applying music theory into basic music lessons to help them better understand and read music. I can also read in all three Major Clefs Treble, Alto, and Bass. (I prefer Alto)

I played and taught in highschool but did not pursue it in college. I'm thinking of getting back into in for some extra money during this pandemic.

I was a section leader of Viola in my highschool. I participated in Pit Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Honor Orchestra, Solo Ensamble, etc. My summer after highschool I was invited to participate as a Music Ambassador to Europe and traveled through 7 countries playing music overseas with other Colorado students.

About the lesson

I am rather new to teaching on this site. I would hope to introduce the student to basic scales and appregios, basic songs and melodies, while also explaining the music theory behind it. To be honest up front I have never taken on a private student.

In highschool I worked with younger students at afterschool programs. Through their scales and sheet music, etc. As well as tutoring peers through similar material.

This is negotiable. Ive never taken on a private student before (while I have worked with younger students and novice players through school programs.) So this is something we can discuss in the future.
