About Kaylie
Hello! My name is Kaylie. I started playing the violin when I was nine years old and quickly found passion for the instrument and music. I have a degree in Music Education from the University of Utah and have been teaching for over 10 years. I have also spent over two years working as a violin specialist at a local Utah shop. I love to work with growing musicians and watch as they learn and develop a love for making beautiful music.
I have a degree in music education, over two years experience as a violin specialist at a local Utah shop, and over 10 years of teaching experience. Most importantly, I am actively building by own skills as a player and teacher.

Every student is different. I do have lesson plans I use frequently that fit most students, but I mold every lesson to meet the immidiate needs of the student.
I work with students of all ages.
Don't be afraid to ask for a trial lesson! You may still have to pay, but it gives you a chance to make sure you like the teaching style and personality of the person you are working with.
