About Laina
I love when music becomes as easy as speaking. Sharing your story is important and I believe music is one of the most beautiful ways of sharing your story. I am a classically trained violinist and recently trained in jazz and blues. I incorporate and embrace both forms into my violin playing. I believe learning the musical language is as essential as learning the alphabet.
I have had wonderful and highly trained teachers. I recently did a jazz apprenticeship that taught me music as a language and really laid a strong foundation for me.

I like to do a trial lesson and go through the basics to see what a student already knows and assess where we can start. I then create lessons based on their individual needs and go from there.
