About
I began learning the violin at age of nine under the tutelage of Ardis Krill and other instructors at the Cleveland Institute of Music. In my late teens I began to teach and specialized in early Suzuki Pedagogy. I trained at the Cleveland Institute of Music and at various Suzuki workshops. I was privileged to observe lessons with Michelle Higa George, a student of Shinichi Suzuki herself. Also, I became member of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (a traditional Irish musician group) where I learned to play Irish fiddle music from several native Irish musicians. I have greatly enjoyed teaching beginning to intermediate violin and Irish fiddle for over 25 years now.
