Teaching Method: Problem-based learning; Student-centered approach in which students are given time to solve an open-ended problem before learning the method by the tutor. This avoids passive learning by actively engaging the student with the problem.
What sets me apart: I stray away from traditional teaching techniques that explain the lesson, require memorization, and assign a problem. Contrarily, I assign the problem first, and encourage the student to identify what we need to know before continuing.
Who the lessons are for: Middle school and high school level math, chemistry, physics, and biology.
