About Rene

Creativity, Training and Experience teaching sports and languages, for over 30 years, in the US, Brazil and Bolivia.

Discovering my students strengths is the challenge I love to face every day and, after that, observing them develop their new skills while enjoying having improved periodically.

I come from a long line of Teachers (now my children are doing it).
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills and most definitely love seeing someone achieving a new level of mastery in something (much more if they don't believe they´re being capable of doing so).

I´ve been teaching Foreign Language and Sports (Tennis) and Foreign Languages (Spanish, Portuguese and English) for almost 40 years.

I'm a Spanish native speaker having learned English and Portuguese, so I know the intricacies of learning a Foreign language. However, I had training in Teaching a Foreign Language, and my last job, as Academic Director (12 years), included implementing the latest in Teaching/Learning in a Foreign Language Program with 7,500 students.

I've been Bolivian National Champion in Tennis and Swimming, and State Champion in Soccer, Table tennis, and Cycling so I know what to learn a new sport from the beginning when everybody else is already good at it, as well as being a competitive athlete.
I've taught sports to underprivileged children so I know how to be creative and, many of my students are now studying in US universities with sports scholarships.

- has learned before going further.

Applying what has been learning in a real (or as close as real) situation.

Celebrating having achieve a goal.

All challenges: underprivileged, technologically gifted, different capabilities/intelligences, etc.

Every situation: public, private, at home, on-site, business, etc.

Many countries (cultures): US, Bolivia, Brazil, etc.

Look for Expertise in a variety of situations, as well as Training and Experience.
