About Mitch
I have been involved in aquatics since I was 7. I swam competitvly through highschool and played water polo through college. Beyond that, I have coached since I was 17 years old. I coached Junior Lifeguards at the beach for about 4 or 5 summers and coached at a club swim team, CWAC, for 3.5 years. Everyone should be comfortable in water and I am hear to help you get comfortable or take your swimming to the next competitive level.
I got started coaching when I was 17. I have always enjoyed teaching and coaching and have continued to do so in different capacities in my career and free time.
I was a lifeguard for 8 years and was involved in aquatics (swimming and water polo) for 15 + years.
I also have a bachelors degree in social work and am working towards my masters in Elementary Education.

I like to start by getting to know the students level of comfort in the water. If they know how to swim already, I want to see what level they are in each stroke. If the swimmer is uncomfortable in water, we will take it one step at a time and work at the swimmers pace.
I have worked with children as young as 5 and as old as 18. I am more than comfortable to work with adults as well.
