About Zoe
My name is Zoe and I am a current High School Counselor. I graduated from Indiana University where I studied Psychology and I have also earned my Master of Science in School Counseling from the University of Vermont. I work with students on a daily basis in exploring their post-secondary plans and creating the strongest application package for the respective colleges and careers that they apply to. Throughout my career, I have found how valuable it is for students to have a trusted individual to talk to when beginning to make such important decisions for their future. As college applications include so many moving parts, having an additional professional to guide and pace the application process can not only ease anxiety but aid in creating an application that the student is proud to submit.
I have conducted in-person and online college application counseling and tutoring with students from both private and public high schools. I am highly skilled in customizing the tutoring process to each student and family's needs. I work to get to know students on a personal level so that we can strategically highlight important areas of strength in your application. If you choose to work with me we will complete the following:
1. Outlining the options that you or your student have available by exploring all post-secondary options and defining a list of schools that will be applied to (safety/target/reach).
2. Reviewing the steps included in the college application process for each school that will be applied to.
3. Creating a game plan that will organize and pace when each portion of the application should be completed.
4. Brainstorming ideas to create creative and impactful essays and supplemental essays.
