About Paola

Spanish was my first language while english was my second. I am equally fluent in both since I have been speaking them for the past 19 years of my life. My favorite subject is english and have gone 2 years in college taking english based courses so I will be more than happy to edit and help you write any sort of essay! I also teach and/or help you understand spanish so you can be succesful in both your educational and proffesional careers.

I volunteered during my free time reading to little kids at my local pediatric clinic last semester before COVID-19 hit. Currently, I am going through a process to become a substitute teacher at local elementary school.

I have tooken two years on Englished focused courses at Angelo State University. I am currently a sophmore.

About the lesson

Most students get right to the point in what they are confused about and I try my best to focus on the problem and their needs. If they don't know where to start I usually try to assess how much they know before tackling the subject.

At the moment, I have only been teaching family members of all ages to finally take a solid step into tutoring.

I am recently part of the Assoociation of Mexican American Students (AMAS) and the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society at Angelo State University. These two organizations have helped evolve into a better version of myself everyday, whether it be for a better understanding of my Mexican culture or furthering my career as a biology major with a concentration in pre-medicine.

Will the tutor have patience to go over the subject or objective if I don't understand?

Will the tutor have great observational skills to see when a student is not understanding?
