About John
Personalized firearm safety, training, and concealed carry classes conducted in small, personalized groups.
We have turned grandmothers into safe, tactically proficient, expert marksmen. We have also helped the already proficient further refine their skillset.
Our curriculum and proven methods transform ordinary people into safe, thinking, aware and qualified gun owners and operators.

Over 30 years of Military and Security Experience
I have always been a leader and recognized that I have the gift of instructing, training, and teaching.
I am an NRA certified Firearms Instructor as well as a Range Safety Officer and IDPA Safety Officer. I also hold a Concealed Carry training commission issued by the Illinois State Police Training Academy.
Currently, I am a competitive shooter and active in the Second Amendment arena. I served honorably as a US Army Infantry Platoon Leader and have many years of private security experience in providing armed personal security details. I have a PERC and Tan Card.
Hold a Master of Science Degree in Analytics from Loyola University and have been a corporate trainer in the financial, logistics, and security sectors.

The first step begins with discovering the students goals. What are they trying to achieve? Better safety awareness, better marksmanship skills, a concealed carry license? We cater to the students goals.
Next we assess the students attitude, skills, training, gear, experiences, etc.
We the develop and execute a mutually agreed upon training plan unique to the individual.
