About Ece

Hello! I am Ece and I am currently studying a degree in Economics at UCL which I achieved a first class honours in my first year. In 6th form, I completed the IB where I achieved all 7s in my higher level subjects Maths (analysis), Economics and Spanish B, as well as a total of 44/45 points. At GCSEs I got a 9 in maths, an A in OCR additional maths and all 9/8s overall. I am an experienced tutor having completed 60+ hours of lessons primarily in GCSE maths. What I love about my economics degree is how I get the chance to apply mathematical and theory-based methods to solve real world problems. It excites me how fast economic conditions change meaning we have to rapidly adapt to new circumstances. The analytical methods used all fundamentally rely on the same key concepts learnt in secondary school economics.

About the lesson

My lessons are totally customised to the student's current skills and what they aim to achieve from tutoring. I believe in a focus on exam style questions supported by in-depth explanations of weak topics and question styles. I do not like to stick to a rigid structure; after each lesson together we can review what you think went well to make the most of our lessons.
