About Kelly
I get excited about passing on the love of learning I create a place of shared experience where I get to know my students, hear their ideas, and help them develop. For students who are already strong learners I help them take their strengths to the next level. For other students I give them the tools, skills, and encouragement necessary to help them learn. I provide students with many opportunities to feel like a successful learner and help them understand their jobs as a learner. I tailor tasks to fit the student so that the tasks are easy enough that the child feels actively engaged in their learning and successful.
I have taught in a wide range of school settings for the past 16 years. I have a Master of Education in Reading with a Literacy certification.

Many of my students are English language learners and are struggling below grade level.
