About Alexis
Hello, and welcome to my this website profile! I am a certified teacher in the state of Florida with certifications in Elementary Education (K-6), Reading (K-12), and I am also reading endorsed. I've been teaching professionally now for 4 years, but have experience tutoring for over 10 years. When it comes to my students, whether in or outside of the classroom, I think it is important to include them in their own learning. This means that I take into consideration a student's interests, likes, and dislikes when preparing my lessons.
Teaching is my greatest passion. I have always loved sharing that passion with my students and seeing them slowing start to love learning as much as I do throughout my time with them.
I have certifications in both Florida and Mississippi for Elementary Education (K-6), Reading (K-12), and am also reading endorsed. I've been teaching in Florida for the past 4 years and have experience teaching grades 1st-4th.
