Mr. Stevens is an amazing teacher, he know how to work with kids. We have started using him from January 2024 and we have seen a 50 points increase in our son’s star test rating for English within 4 months. He is very flexible in terms of schedule and charges you only for the time that class goes on. There were multiple instances where we had to cut short the classes and we only paid for the class times. We highly recommend Mr. Stevens for English and his course works makes it fun for the kids and enjoyable.

One of my grandsons was lagging in reading. I hired Mr. Steven's to work with him and his testing scores have come way up from being held back a year to in the 90s. He is also doing some math tutoring and doing well. My grandson looks forward to his tutoring sessions. We all like Mr. Stevens so much that I decided to have him also tutor another grandson who is just starting to read to help him excel and be confident in his reading. The boys are going into 1st and 3rd grade. Mr. Roland has many years of experience in teaching and his pricing is very reasonable so I can afford to have both boys tutored.

All through the last few years, we’ve struggled with our son who is not a fan of reading, nor writing. He’s now in middle school, and he was tested as reading 3 grade levels below his peers. We heard about Mr. Stevens from a friend who had loved him when he taught her children. Mr Stevens was able to peak our sons attention right away. He taught him strategies and techniques in both reading and writing that made sense to our boy. He guided him through a variety of stories, even created online books from his vast selection of stories, which were quick reads. Our sons confidence grew with his ability to read. He the taught our son to write short responses by making a claim, finding a citation, and making a commentary. Mr Stevens strategy was so easy to use and more importantly, highly effective. By the next testing cycle, our son had made tremendous gains! His confidence in reading and writing has grown, and his grades are improving. Mr Stevens’ tutoring style has made all the difference. He is also so willing to work with me, guiding my support so it is effective, not punitive or pointless. His skills from years of teaching are so fine-tuned as to make him an expert in his field.
