About Maria
I am a 30 year veteran teacher who has experience teaching special needs students in the regular education classroom setting. I have taught various learners, on level and below level, Kindergarten to 5th grade.
I enjoy teaching my students and watching them grow as learners. Sometimes, they end up teaching me too!
I used to tutor at Sylvan Learning Center and loved it!
I've been a special education teacher for 230 years. I work with Learning Disabled in their classrooms and teach them reading, writing, and math skills, Kindergarten to fifth grade. I have been implementing a phonics program, Brainspring, and that has moved my students forward with success!

I have worked with Learning Disabled, those with ADHD, Emotionak Disabilities, as well as general education students.
