About Gina

I am a 3rd grade teacher with 12 years of experience. I have taught 2nd grade and also worked as a reading interventionist. I am certified in grades PK-3. I have also taught English as a second language online for four years.

I love helping students learn and grow and realizing their potential.

I started as a reading interventionist because I love working with children who need extra support. I then took those skills into a full classroom and continued to build my knowledge base of how to help all learners meet their needs.

I am currently a 3rd grade teacher. I have taught 2nd grade and also was a reading interventionist. I have been an educator for 12 years. I have also taught English online to students in other countries for 4 years. I am a licensed teacher in grades PK-3. I am currently working on my Masters of Arts in Foreign, Second, and Multilingual Language Education. I have worked with students ranging in age from 3-16. I have taught children with a variety of needs and am able to adapt my teaching to fit individual needs.

About the lesson

I will meet with parents to discuss the needs of the student as well as their interests. I will use their interests to build rapport and get to know the student.

I have worked with students ranging in age from 3-16. I have taught students who need enrichment as well as students who need extra support. I have worked with students learning English as a second language.

I would tell the student to make sure they are comfortable with the teacher so that they are able to make the most out of their time together.

I was able to spend the summer with my 5-year old son enjoying the best parts of summer through his eyes.
