About Ben
My name is Ben Rountree and I'm a Filmmaker based in New York City. I graduated from the School of Visual Arts and have a passion for visual storytelling. I've recently been creating films for various brands, organizations and non profits as well as working on indipendent narrative projects.
I teach students interested in Filmmaking learn how to create compelling stories through this language of storytelling. I work with students interested in starting a new project or developing a current project offering guidence and solutions. My approach is strategic, conversational and creative. I provide homework and assignments in between sessions.
I'm passionate about creating films which share inspiring stories and explore creative techniques. I truley believe film can educate, empower and build empahy.
I enjoy helping others acheive their goals and create meaningful works of art.
