About Annastaysia

I am both a formal higher education taught and self taught artist who lives to teach and share my love of art. I have been an artist for over 40 years, my whole life. I live and breathe art. I can’t imagine life without it. I sell my own art thru : (concealed information) You can also find me on Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter under the same name.

I began teaching art to people while I was still in high school to earn extra money.

I have a Bachelors of Fine Art as well as Art Education from Arizona State. I was a double major. I also have extensive graduate classes under my belt in Fine Arts as well. They are in Painting and Drawing from The Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

About the lesson

I will travel to you or you may come to me. We will get to know each other through a series of quick art exercises that will express our “self” through the medium we use. Our lesson will contain an education in the medium taught as well as laughter, conversation and “life”.

I have worked with every kind of student that you can imagine. From 4 years old to 101! From teaching a blind boy sculpture, autistic children, adults wanting to learn to retired grandparents. From beginners to advanced artists.

Look for a teacher you “ click” with. That way the process of learning the new skill will be extremely enjoyable.

I recently had one of my paintings chosen by The Syracuse Cultural Workers to have displayed on their products. They sought me out which was a huge honor.
