I have done pottery with Sandy for a few years now. She is wonderfully supportive. If you are not sure what you want to make, she offers some great ideas. She has a way of inspiring you as you move through the creative process. Weather you are familiar with clay or just beginning to explore, it is a wonderful places to spend your time.

Sandy is one of the most generous people I've ever met. She is generous with her talents (pottery, painting, etc) and her hugs. She is very encouraging while you are working on something and very generous with tips or ways to do something, that really help. I've really enjoyed my time with her in her studio.

Sandy makes creating pottery fun and exciting lesson after lesson. Her classes are for people of all ages and levels of experience and she takes time to work one-on-one with everyone in class. I’ve been taking lessons from Sandy for about two years, and I am still learning new tricks from her every single class. Sandy is so caring and knowledgeable, taking classes with her is the highlight of my week.

Sandy's pottery classes focus on the student interest. In her classes you feel like you are taking private lessons. Everyone starts with a different skill set and she is able to help each student reach their personal goals. If you never take one of her classes, you will miss the opportunity to meet a wonderfully creative individual.

she has become a mentor, friend, and second mom. i love her dearly with all my heart and everyone who is sane/has a sense of humor will say the same. not to mention she is an amazing, experienced teacher who makes incredible art and encourages other people to make incredible art.

She is the most kind, understanding, wise, great at pottery, fun teacher and friend I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. Gorgeous art, amazing and laidback environment, and I feel such comfort when I’m potting with her. I am 17 and have grown with her and she has molded me just as my closest friends has. I love her. If you want exemplary, experienced, but most importantly, lovely guidance and tenderness, then there should ne no other consideration other than Sandy, the gorgeous, humble master and smiling goddess.
Am I being dramatic? Maybe. But one thing I can guarantee is that you will feel great in the presence of Sandy.

Such a wonderful teacher! Her class has a great atmosphere and the structure of it allows you to create whatever you feel like making! I’ve learned so much in the past year and I look forward to it every week.
