My daughter is taking lessons from Ms. Abbett and I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is as a teacher and music mentor. Her style of teaching is open, inviting and honoring of my daughter's interests and abilities. My daughter loves going to her lesson each week!

Monique taught me when I was a young teen in Ashland. At the time I was trying to find my place in the musical world playing piano, trombone, and french horn. During the two years that she taught me piano, Monique consistently took the time to ensure that I actually enjoyed the songs that we were working on and was having fun. This was a sharp and appreciated contrast to other music teachers I had had in the past.

I took lessons from Monique a long while back when I was in Elementary and middle school. She was the best music teacher I ever had and became a lifetime friend. She gave me the fundamentals of music through the Suzuki method and have me a lifelong passion for music.

Monique brings so much love to her work and is a brilliant teacher. I'm really glad she's teaching again and would highly recommend teaching out to her.

Monique taught me piano when she was living in Ashland and I was in elementary school! She was such a great teacher, and I loved my Suzuki volumes one and two recitals. All my friends came! I like my piano lessons with Monique! She is a great teacher. I'm learning Little Playmates and Chant Arabe and pretty soon I get to do my Volume One Suzuki recital for my friends and family. It's cool.
