About Margaret
The way I see tutoring is simple: your scheduled time is about you, so each session is customized to your needs! During your time, my goal is to help you learn in whatever way works best for you. This means there are no bad questions, and we can move as slowly or as quickly as you’d like. If my students aren’t making progress, I see it as my job to reframe the material and present in a different way. I believe that math and physics can be accessible to everyone and that failure to understand is not the fault of the student, but rather the teacher.
I have a BA in physics, as well as an MS in electrical engineering. I have also been tutoring for the past five years and have worked as teaching assistant for various physics and engineering courses for the past three years.

Find a teacher who is patient with you and is willing to take the time to explain things as many times as you need. Sometimes you won't understand something the first time; when you work with a tutor, it's important that you aren't too scared or self conscious to ask again if you're still confused. It's equally important that the tutor is willing to work with you and cna find a new way to explain the concept if the way they've been doing so doesn't work for you.
