About Joseph

My name is Joseph Okwiri, and I have been tutoring biology, chemistry, and physics for more than three years now. After My high school education, I started teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in other high schools for one year before joining the University. Since that time, I have grown to love these sciences, and I can relate well to the hardships in learning them.

When I joined the University, my degree course involves these sciences. And as I progressed to advanced levels of the course, I understood more concepts of the sciences. It enabled me to become more effective in teaching both concepts and applications of the sciences, and I can also give techniques in solving the problems. Besides going for my routine industrial attachments as per the curriculum, I continued with my tutoring services- alternating between part-time and full-time. During my undergraduate course, I also helped students on various platforms-though time was a bit inadequate due to my undergraduate requirements.

When I graduated in 2019, I had more free time. I even began tutoring students of all preferences (age and level) at a personal level (one on one basis), while following their curriculum. I helped students cover some gray areas, do quick revision, and prepare adequately for their exams, turning their weaknesses into strengths. Furthermore, during my attachment and internship periods, I applied various sciences concepts in practical setups, which gave me more knowledge. This aspect was further enhanced with my one year experience in the oil and gas sector.

I love my tutoring service because I am results-oriented. In my experience, I always tailored my services to meet students' specifications provided constant feedback and follow-ups and quickly responded to questions anytime students encountered difficulties. I also reviewed likely examination questions, explanations, and solutions. If I get this chance, I will do even more to ensure students' smooth experience and the availability of the help they need.

Tutoring has always been my passion. I got the inspiration from my mathematics teacher back in high school. He taught us so well. He was always available and, above all, down to earth. From then on, I learned the art of passion in whatever one does. Therefore, I enjoy most about my services whenever I tutor students in the most challenging areas, and they end up understanding every concept.

About the lesson

I am a flexible tutor. I have no preferred process, but technically, I like tutoring students online. Whenever students have a challenging topic, they can reach out to me at their convenience because I am always available. If it is a technical question, I prefer offering solutions in a stepwise fashion and make sure that I leave the student fully satisfied
