About Jessica
I am currently in my last year of college at UCLA. As a Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics major, I have a lot of experience with STEM-based classes, ranigng from elementary school to college level.
I have personally experienced adversity in academic work. I know what it's like to work quite hard at a subject and think that I know all of the material, to end up being surprised on assignments and tests. I hope that the skills that I have learned and develop with students will help them succeed.
I am in my last quarter of my B.S. with a major in MIMG and a minor in Environmental Systems and Soceity.
In the past, I have previously founded a tutoring agency that focused on connecting parents with highschool student tutors.

I like to first have an introductory session with the student, to ask about what certain topics the student is confused about and get a feel for what learning style the student prefers. Then, after the initial session, I start creating some material for the student and regular tutoring sessions continue on.
