Cindy was an excellent photography teacher. I took several of her college level classes on my way to receiving my bachelor's degree in photojournalism. Cindy was able to deliver photography lessons drawing from her years of experience as a photojournalist and convey all of the material in easy-to-understand and meaningful ways. She taught me everything from black and white film photography to digital photography to composition and design to studio lighting to the ethics of photojournalism to digital editing techniques. Not only was she highly knowledgeable on all of those subjects, she was also very in tune with each of her students' strengths and weaknesses and gave excellent constructive criticism that helped me become a much better photographer.
