About Jenna

I don't do this for the money. I do this because I love it and I will work hard to make sure that every single student I have walks away feeling that they received the help they needed to achieve their goals.

I love to see other people succeed in their goals. Being able to have a small part in that journey is what ignites the passion in my work!

I began teaching when my business was taking off and I was getting several emails asking for help from others. I eventually gave into the most persuasive one and opened up an internship program. I fell in love with teaching and haven't looked back since!

My background is in business and wedding photography. I started photographing weddings in 2006, attended The Art Institute of California Orange County, and launched my first business in 2010.

I grew a successful business in my local market and went on to launch a community for creative business owners in my area in the spirit of community over competition. Each month we would bring in an educational speaker and cover a different topic of business.

I also speak and coach in business and specialize in business planning, marketing, and streamlining our work to make our lives simpler and our clients happier.

About the lesson

My process for working with a new student is custom-tailored. First, we will talk about what your goals are and which ones you want to focus on first. Then we will create a plan with the number of sessions needed to cover the information you will need to reach those goals!

I have worked with creatives and business owners of various backgrounds, some included: journalists, photographers, wedding planners, book authors, speech pathologists, churches, wedding DJ's, marketing agencies, and more.

My advice to those looking for a teacher is two-fold: (1) find someone who specializes in the area of expertise that you need help in and (2) make sure you really like and trust them! You will go so much further when you and your teacher have a great working relationship.

I recommend thinking about your specific goals before talking to a teacher, but remember, if you aren't quite sure yet how that looks, a great teacher will help you work out what those goals are.
