About Kim
I am a full time art teacher, as well as a part-time professional portrait photographer. I typically shoot seniors and families, but also teach group photo workshops as well that include a detailed manual with session.
I love getting to try new things! I love exploring new things to take photos of. Whether I practice running after my four year old daughter Brooklyn (who runs really fast by the way!) or taking pictures at the local park of hummingbirds, I love getting to be creative and try out new angles and settings on my camera.
I have a degree in art education and I have been a photography/yearbook teacher for 15 years in the public school setting. I have a been a professional photographer for the past 4 years.

Start off with basics of camera functions and composition basics, then go into learning how camera functions of DSLR cameras work. Practice makes perfect as well!
All ages! I have been teaching middle school students for 15 years, but also have taught many photo lessons to adults as well.
Practice, practice, practice! The only way you get better is if you go and try out your gear!
