About Thomas
With over forty years of experience in the photography industry and having the opportunities to travel while being paid to create and capture the moments in my career. My career with every major Sport, Public Relation Firms, Corporations, Celebrities and Prestigious Events.
Photography is my passion and I truly enjoy teaching the art of photography. It's a true love to create a story through your camera and give it a powerful Identity as a image.
Telling a story with creativity is a great feeling!
WOW! Is the reaction you should have as a result of your images. Having total satisfaction and enjoyment creating your own style. When it's your passion, it's so satisfing.
Absoulity love what I do for a living!
When I had my Studio in Massachusetts I started. It all started when I was asked by many people that I was photographing. They felt a connection that I was so very helpful with answering the questions about how I did that and I'd answer them, so they could understand. The rest is in proper communciation skills and helping them to have results in the photos. It was a pleasure to teach and truly enjoy the results with them.
I always loved photography and started when I was fifteen years old and continued to follow my passion. Then training with Dean Collins in SanDiago CA. He was the best instructor anyone could ever have for the commercial industry.
Dean taught me to be myself with photography and developing my own style along using available light to my advantage. Again, creativity! it's absoulty rewarding!

Having a casual meeting and creating a good line of communication, so I totally understand what the student is wanting to learn about the photography world. This should be fun and some understanding of photography and how to create in their own way. I have a very open personality and truly have a comfertable way with people. The enjoyment of what I do will be exposed, ha, no pun intented.
Interesting enough, all ages from teenagers to seniors. I believe when someone has the ability to enjoy creating what they thought they never would be able to do. It's outsatnding to watch the look on there faces.
A few things come to mind. Being happy with the photographers/teaching ability and getting along with each other. Being able to ask questions, no matter what the question is. Every question for a student is an important question. Don't be afraid to ask over and over till you get it.
It's my pleasure to make sure you understand.
Snow shoeing up at loon and jsut getting lost in the outdoors and capturing it in it' natural state. Honestly I have so many I could talk about we don't have enough space on this site.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Exactly what they want to learn about photography. Questions are very important for learning all aspects of photography.

This is Jeff, following up. It took five sessions for me and I was definitely all set.
Tom, takes the time to throughly explain everything so I understand it. It's called communication and he has that down.

I believe that everyone has certain levels of training needs, so after a conversation about what they are looking for I'll be able to determine how much I would charge. It would vary from hourly rate to a flat rate for weeks of training. I'm certainly here to help and make it afortable.
