About Jennifer
I have over 10 years of experience in multiple fields with a bachelor's degree in fine art with emphases in studio art, graphic design & illustration, and photography.
With having the perspective of the different forms of art, you'd get more than what you would with just a photography teacher.
That 10 years includes:
Drawing - Graphite, charcoal, silverpoint, ink, etc.
Painting - Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, airbrush, etc.

I love that at the end of the day, I get to see either my work and be proud, or see my students work, and be proud.
Either way, I get to end the day proud and with a smile on my face.
I'm known for illustrating comic books with educational value and began going around to schools teaching about all forms of science, art, music, history, etc. and people loved it. And so do I! So I just kept on teaching! (and illustrating)

I assess what they already know, what they'd like to know and go from there. Then we discuss the budget and from there I tailor a class for each person so they get the maximum benefits for our time.
All kinds of students. Mostly middle school for in-person teachings, but as of the past few years, I've been mostly teaching adults-seniors.
Don't be afraid to ask anything, and don't be overwhelmed by the information that gets thrown at you. It takes time to learn these things. You WILL learn it! Don't get discouraged! Just take it one step at a time.
Well, I just got married in the middle of a pandemic. I always thought I wanted a bigger wedding with my enormous family there. We ended up have a small ceremony in the mountains with 25 people. And I'm glad I didn't have a huge wedding. it was perfect.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The only thing I'd say is not to expect the teacher to have equipment for you. If you want to learn photography and pay someone for it, you should probably get or already have a camera.
If you'd like the teacher's input on what to buy, that's a little different. But just to be prepared with what you know you need.
