About Linawa
Premium Black and White Portraits with full service printing and installation. We print in house and frame our own canvasses.
I absolutely love creating portraits that will be enjoyed by future generations. I grew up looking at old portraits of my own family. Photos that are now 100 years old.
I have been passionate about photography since age of 17 and first started working for dad when he had a photography store on Drew St in Clearwater. It was the local store the kids came for materials for the St. Pete darkroom college courses We also rented darkroom space. It was there I learned to develop film. Finding that process was fun I gave the actual photo taking a try and fell in love.
Married with 4 kids, age 38, I have a studio in downtown Clearwater and also work from home. I have worked for over a 100 families.
My teaching style is very thorough. I break the camera functions into 3 parts and it is very clear to understand. I teach just how my dad taught me.
Photography is second nature to me.

First I like to know what they wish to shoot. This tells me what lens they really need to he using. It also tells me how we can make use of settings and best times to shoot. I am quite old school and really teach compostition is a must. Anyone can be technical and have no artistic eye. But we need to be training the eye immediately. Technicalities is the easy part.
