About Rhae

I have been teaching photography classes for 6 out of the ten years that I’ve been in business and I love it! This is what you’ll find on the Classes page on my website: (concealed information)

PHOTOGRAPHY 101 - If you're looking for a basic photography class, you've come to the right spot. OR if you're a more seasoned photographer that completely understands Manual Mode (How to use your Aperture, ISO, and Shutter Speed settings to get the photo YOU want), BUT you need help with things like: composition, light, working with people, posing, how to set up a shot, how to think fast and take the shot on the fly...then maybe my PHOTOGRAPHY FIELD CLASS is for you.

In the PHOTOGRAPHY 101 class we will go over the 3 settings that you need to understand to get your camera off of the Auto setting. You know the 'green box' on the dial that causes your flash to pop up at the most in opportune times, or doesn't allow you to put the focus where you want it go?!

We will also be going over focusing, lenses, light metering, composition, and creativity in a very simplistic fashion. You will be excited to use your camera after this class, I promise!

PHOTOGRAPHY FIELD CLASS (Class 2) - As stated above, this class is 'in the field'. based on what you are wanting to improve on, we could possibly go to McHugh Creek, or Beluga Point. If portraits are your interest, we will either bring along a model, a family, or practice on each other. It's best if you have taken the Photography 101 class, but not necessary. This is a 2 hr class. If you want or are looking for more of a mentorship style class with more time, and would like to see how I work with clients, lets chat!

LIGHTROOM CLASS - This is a basic lightroom class. I will take you through each module, and we will also be editing the same photos side by side, so you can learn hands on!

About the lesson

Photography lessons offered by Rhae are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Anchorage. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
