About Mandy
Hi! I am a well-experienced Maths, physics and DT tutor. I have taught to both foundation and higher course level, including SEN students. I have just over 6 years' of experience and I'm proud of my students! Please message me to find out about how I schedule lessons to match student needs. Willing to travel: No, due to the demands of my PGCE all tutoring is held at my place or online. I am currently building a profile for subjects that I can arrange tutoring for via contacts that I have built within the industry. Please feel free to contact me with any assistance to any subjects I have not mentioned here yet. Pay rates per hour or term can be negotiated dependent on tutor. Minimum price can be agreed for block bookings. Availability: Flexible Experience: I have experience in tutoring GCSE Mathematics as I have assisted Foundation Mathematics students in their GCSE whilst I was still at sixth form. Amanda is an academically gifted individual whom I have known since 2010 when she was the Head of the Staff-Student Liaison Committee in the College of Engineering,Mathematics and Physical Sciences at the University of Exeter. She has a passion for improving the life chances of individuals around her, and at Exeter she organised training activities to improve opportunities for learning for international students. She organised teams of home students to improve the English language skills of first year international students as well as basic skills in mathematics and engineering.
