About Melissa

I am an in home certified master trainer and senior fitness instructor. I bring the equipment to my clients house and train them in the comfort of their own home.

I was constantly trying to lose weight. I joined a gym hoping to get help. When I found that personal trainers were charging $90 an hour!! No way could I afford that. So I went to school and learned how to lose weight myself. I want to share my knowledge with others who struggle like I did for an affordable price.

I achieved my Certification Personal Trainer certification in 2014. Followed by my Senior Fitness Instructor in 2015 and my Master Trainer Certification also in 2015. My certificates have to be renewed annually. I have trained individuals and groups since 2014. I have opened Fit 4 Life Performance in 2015

About the lesson

First off, I start with an evaluation. I find out what my clients goals are. I put together and workout plan. I am not a certified dietician, but I can teach what I learned from my training. My clients goals are important to me and I want them to see progress every week.

I have worked with kids, adults, and seniors. I assisted members of the military and police and trained them for PT examinations.

Beware and always check credentials. You don't want to hire someone who doesn't know what they are doing. No matter if I get hired or not I don't want to see anyone get injured.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ask them about their experience as trainers. Obviously some trainers and clients are just not going to get along. Be upfront and honest with them. Make sure your needs are their number one priority.

I charge $40.00 an hour for Marion and Sumter County clients. I charge $30.00 an hour for Citrus County clients.
