About Mark
I have been teaching Regents Earth Science, Regents Living Environment, Marine Science anbd General Science for the past 30 years.
I have Permanent Certifications in Biology and Earth Science 7-12 in New York State.
My pleasure in teaching comes when my student has what I call "a light bulb moment" when a concept that he/she was struggling with becomes clear.
My students frequently score Mastery on thier state assesments.
I have always loved science, and have done extensive research on Marine Mammals. Teaching was the next natural step for me.
Undergrad degree in Environmental Conservation, which focused on Biology and Geology (Earth Science). Graduate degree in Secondary Education. I have taught in the New York Public schools for the past 30 years.,, Been recognized by my didtrict as a teacher of excellence.
