About Oluwatobi

I am an accomplished orthopedic surgery resident with a strong educational background, holding dual majors in biology and physiology during my college years. I subsequently completed four years of rigorous medical school training. Fluent in three languages - English, Yoruba, and Spanish - my ability to communicate effectively extends across diverse communities. My commitment to community health is demonstrated through extensive volunteering experience in rural areas. Furthermore, my work with both AMR and the border patrol in EMS services highlights my dedication to serving and saving lives. As a healthcare professional, my mission is to make a lasting impact on the well-being of individuals and communities while striving for excellence in orthopedic surgery.

I started teaching in college, when I had the opportunity to work as a preceptor in some of my classes.

I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of Arizona, I have a double-major in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and Physiology with Honors and I had the privilege of tutoring throughout college. Currently, I am a 2nd year medical student at the University of Arizona.

About the lesson

My process begins with the understanding of the exact areas that the student is struggling with. Once we have nailed it down to a certain topic or several topics, I will assist the student and walk them through a careful through process and break down the subject such as to make it easier to understand and in the process of doing so, facilitate learning.

I have worked with elementary school, high school, undergraduate and graduate students.
