About Sylvia
I like to talk to the student to see what they want to focus on during the session. I want to give them as much information that I can to make the steps understandable and easier. Coding is very detaile work and it just learning to use the coding books correctly.
I have been a Certified Coder and Credentialed teacher and have taught Medical Coding and Medical Terminology for the past 26 yrs. I am now tutoring students in this field helping them to reach their goals.
I am a credential teacher, certified professional tutor with NTA. I have worked and taught inpatient and outpatient coding for the past 26 yrs.
